Collected Poems of Śrīla Sac-cid-ānanda Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura
Description
For those practitioners treading the path of bhakti-yoga, the poems of Śrīla Sat-cid-ānanda Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura need no introduction. Aside from his more famous works of poetry such as; Gītā-mālā, Kalyāṇa Kalpataru, Śaraṇāgati, and Bāula Saṅgīt, Ṭhākura Bhaktivinoda also wrote several poems that were never published during his lifetime. From what little information is available it appears that they were composed in Jagannātha Purī in the late 19th century. If it were not for The Gauḍīya Magazine posthumously publishing these songs almost half a century later they may have never been preserved. It is these songs that are the contents of this present work. In an effort of service and education it is our intention to present these rare poems in a simple and professional way.
