Gauḍīya Society of Sacred Archaeology

About Us:

Our mission is to find, preserve, educate, and share the glorification of the ancient sacred deities, temples, historical sights, prayers, and songs of  Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava history. In this way we aim to further explorations, research and study, and also safeguard these sacred artifacts and archeological discoveries of history specifically in the major pastime places such as, Gauḍa-deśe, Vraja-maṇḍala, and Puruṣottama-dhāma. In order to achieve this objective  we will be utilizing means such as literature, documentaries, and  other multimedia presentation to educate and broadcast the infinite glories of these most valuable jewels of the Vaiṣṇava tradition. Along with preservation of Vaiṣṇava history our objective is also to help save the earth from environmental injustices such as the destructive practices of open-pit mining and over-infrastructure that are currently threatening the environment, wildlife, and indigenous history such as pictographs, petroglyphs, relics, burial grounds and the landscape surrounding them. Our organization aspires to found projects such as nature centers, hiking trails, camping sites and community events in places where open-pit mining once devastated the landscape. By implementing land reclamation strategies and bringing to light this catastrophic injustice that is being inflicted upon the Earth, we aim to inflict real change by helping to stop open-pit mining and thus subsequently transforming these places into a sanctuary for wildlife and  outdoor recreation.
